Before Philippine Source, I ran a business called Mango Shack, importing fresh Philippine mangoes and selling them wholesale and direct-to-consumer in the UK.
Getting started was brutal. I got scammed twice by suppliers who took payment and disappeared. No verification, no recourse, no way to check if a supplier was legitimate before sending money overseas.
Eventually I found trustworthy suppliers, and Mango Shack worked. Philippine mangoes sold. The demand was real. But through that process I saw the same problem everywhere: buyers outside the Philippines have no reliable way to find and verify Filipino suppliers.
The Philippines produces fantastic products: food, furniture, handicrafts, beauty products, textiles. But there's no dedicated platform for finding those suppliers. The big directories are dominated by other countries. Most Filipino suppliers aren't on them.
That's the gap Philippine Source fills.

Anyone can put up a listing on a marketplace. What's harder is proving that the supplier behind it is real, registered, and capable of exporting.
Philippine Source verifies every supplier against Philippine government records: DTI or SEC business registration and BIR tax records. Suppliers can also earn capability badges like Export Ready, FDA Registered, and Halal Certified to stand out to buyers.
This isn't a pay-to-play badge. It's a genuine check, built by someone who learned what happens when you skip it.
